5Good to know

What Form 030 does

It registers you in the tax census as an individual without a business activity, or updates your details such as tax address, name or contact details.

Why it matters

If your tax address is wrong, you can miss official notifications and fines. Non-residents who own property in Spain should make sure their details are correct.

You need a NIE first. A digital certificate lets you check and update your details online later. Need to prove your tax residence? See residence certificates.

6Frequently asked questions
